We will examine your medical history, discuss the medication you are currently taking, and take other measures to ensure that you can safely undergo All-on-4 with minimal risks to your health.

The ideal candidate for All-on-4 dental implants is missing most or all teeth on either arch or both. We can provide extractions of any remaining compromised teeth, or explore other options if your remaining teeth are healthy.

Candidates have to be in good health to undergo the procedure, or else the surgery could be risky. Conditions like uncontrolled diabetes and gum disease will need to be resolved before you can get All-on-4.

Nicotine compromises your ability to heal, which can lead to implant failure. If you use tobacco in any form, you will need to quit for a period before surgery, and ideally drop the habit permanently.

Although All-on-4 is designed to accommodate patients with some degree of jaw atrophy, it does require a certain amount of healthy jaw tissue for support. Dr. Khodabakhsh can perform any grafting your case requires.
